The rain was not about to bring Lauren and Bobby’s amazing wedding down. The wedding entourage braved the storm for some of the most dramatic photographs we’ve seen in a while. In true Ohio fashion, the land was shrouded in darkness courtesy of the world-renowned Ohio moody weather. But all that moodiness made the Toledo Museum of Art a perfect spot to take pictures at.
LET’S TALK ABOUT FLOWERS! DESCRIBE YOUR BOUQUET AND BOUTONNIERES:
When I was choosing flowers, I wanted to have a bouquet that was the classic and timeless look. With my dress being so heavily beaded, I wanted flowers that didn’t clash, so I want with a bouquet consisting mostly of quicksand roses, white ranunculus, and eucalyptus for a little pop of color. Bobby’s boutonniere echoed that look with a simple white ranunculus
TELL US ABOUT THE WEDDING DRESS:
My dress was Morilee by Madeline Gardner. It was fully beaded in silver with a gold underlay and a sweetheart neckline. I felt like it perfectly matched my personality. I wanted something that would really make Bobby say wow.
Also, random fun fact: my prom dress was made by the same designer, and I didn’t know until after I purchased it.
HOW DID YOU FEEL THE MORNING OF YOUR WEDDING? DID YOU HAVE WEDDING DAY JITTERS?
I felt very at ease the morning of the wedding. I was surrounded by my best friends, getting ready to marry the man of my dreams. We spent so long planning the perfect day, and I was so ready to just be partying and having the time of my life with all my favorite people!
PARTY TIME! FIRST OFF, HOW WAS THAT CAKE/DESSERT? AND WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR CAKE DESIGNER?
The cake was to die for! My family has been using Cakes By Stephanie for every major event that needs dessert since I was 16. They’ve always done a fantastic job, and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else make our wedding cake.
